RUN-OFF BARRAMUNDI FISHING SAFARIS
From February to May each year, at the end of the Wet season, the "run-off" occurs in the Top End. The flood waters retreat and barra congregate at the mouths of the feeder creeks to get an easy meal. This is prime time for catching barramundi.

 This trip takes you to the heart of the post wet season action on either the famous Mary River system or the Alligator Rivers in Kakadu National Park. You will be collected by your experienced guide early on day one and travel down the track by air-conditioned 4WD vehicle to your overnight lodge/resort accommodation before hitting the water. Spend your days enjoying top class fishing, the area is also a photographer's dream with numerous bird and wildlife species and of course the awesome saltwater crocodile, which inhabits Top End waters. On the final day return to your Darwin accommodation late in the afternoon.Quality tackle and rods are provided however, you are welcome to bring your own favourite outfit if you wish. Fishing is from fully surveyed custom built barra boats with full shade canopy if required.
