In its quest to provide more convenience, safety and comfort on the road or the water, Waeco recently expanded its innovative CF range with the addition of the CF-50 AC and CF-60 AC (now with AC onboard), and the CF-80 and CF-110 with Digital Display.

On the horizon is the new Magnum cooler, the FR-145. And to complement remote operation of the Waeco range of portable refrigerators, Waeco designed the CoolPower 36 — a battery specifically built to run portable fridges — and the RAPS 72 Kit, which will allow two CoolPower 36 batteries to be connected together providing a generous 72 amp hours of power.

AC ONBOARD

Australia ’s highest selling portable kompressor fridges, Waeco’s CF-50 and CF-60, are now available with AC onboard.

Waeco Cool Freeze kompressor fridge/freezers are at home the world over. The ‘DC + AC’ logo documents that they are compatible with any onboard or mains network across the globe. They are ready for connection to 12/24 V DC or 110-240 V AC and can be permanently wired as well.

An integrated priority circuit ensures that energy is always drawn from the mains even if the batteries are connected, a major advantage preventing coolers from sucking the life out of the battery.

Tried and tested by independent institutes as well as in practical application, the Waeco CF range of kompressor fridge/freezers combines high performance with low power consumption.

JUMBO COOLERS

With this great unit, there’s no reason to let anything melt again!

You can have all the comforts and convenience of a household refrigerator/freezer in your car, or while camping. Separate refrigerator, freezer and dairy compartments make it easy.

The CF-80 measures 500 mm (W) x 455 mm (H) x 790 mm (L), weighs 29 kg and has an 80 L capacity. Its power source is 12/24 V, with a cooling capacity up to 50 degrees Celsius below ambient. It will also hold 103 cans!

The bigger CF-110 measures 500mm (W) x 555 mm (H) x 790 mm (L), weighs: 33 kg and has a capacity of 106 L. Like the CF-80, its power source is 12/24 V, with a cooling capacity up to 50 degrees Celsius below ambient. This one will hold 144 cans!

MORE THAN A TEMP INDICATOR

The new Waeco CF-80 and CF-110 digital readout is more than just a temperature indicator. It is an integrated electronic digital control and temperature reading. Just set the freezer to the desired temperature, then view your actual freezer temperature on the digital display.

There are no replacement batteries to bother about, either. Waeco has fully integrated the power requirements of the digital display, which is a much smarter solution.

Special electronics and valuable extra functions include an emergency function, a quick-chill function, battery protection, 3 stage kompressor speed switch, memory function, electronic temperature control and a freezer temperature digital display

MAGNUM COOLER FOR PROFESSIONAL USE

The largest cooler in the Waeco range, the new FR-145 comes with a variety of interesting features: a giant-size capacity of 136 L as well as two wheels and two sturdy carrying handles for ease of transport, while a removable partition organises the contents.

This fridge on wheels measures 520mm (W) x 570mm (H) x 1206mm (L), weighs 35 kg and its power source is 12/24 V DC , 110-24 V AC. The FR-145 has a temperature range of 0 degrees to +12 degrees Celsius. Insulation is 50 mm solid polyurethane foam.

COOL POWER FOR THE FRIDGE

Eliminate all fridge power problems with Waeco’s CoolPower 36. It’s a genuine Waeco manufactured rugged deep cycle battery with superior discharge/charging cycle capability.

The Waeco CoolPower 36 has all the features of a dual battery system normally fitted permanently into 4WDs, trucks and boats, except that it is portable and far more robust.

As long as you drive your car every day or so, you’ll never have to think about battery power — it’s all automatic. Unlike most car batteries, the Waeco CoolPower can charge at very high rates without damage. It’s also portable so you can take it to the camping site along with the fridge.

Featuring genuine deep cycle AGM battery cells, the battery supplies heavy duty 12 V remote power, boasting 36 amp hours. It also features cigarette and Hella output sockets, digital volts display, battery condition LED/test button, secure screw connection charging socket, and a 1.5 m charging lead. Maximum charging current is 14.4 A. The CoolPower 36’s dimensions are 230mm (W) x 245 mm (H) x 227 mm (D).
